dizzy not advancing

have a 009 that isnt advancing what can i do has any one fixed this problem if so any help would be great if i can fix it with out buying a new one would be very happy

It could be the spring has broken or fallen off.
Take off the cap,take out the points or module,undo the two screws that hold the plate in and remove the plate. There should be a spring that operates the advance. If its broken replace it or reconnect it if it has fallen off.

found it shaft was siezed freed it up and wosh ga ................. all i needed was a push thank u alien8 i knew it but couldnt think straight lol

Like everything that moves.... mechanically

it needs to be lubricated at every oil change....

standard practice...

it was only that the dizzy at been sitting around for such a long time not used LEE not through bad servicing :)............ we only found the problem with it when i put into another motor
