waltermitty - July 8th, 2003 at 05:04 PM

I have a dipstick sender (-BERG) and thought that I might give it a go. Its fairly obvious to me where i install it but where do you connect the wire too?
Thanks . MitCheLl:cool:

On the temp gauge there should be 2 terminals.

One goes to the sender unit and the other side goes to a positive on the fuse box that activates when the ignition is turned on.

The temp sender sends a resistance signal to the gauge that makes it moove when the oil temp increases.

Mitchell,
The wire hooks to the oil pressure light wire. Use a piggy back from the o/p switch to attach both wires. Keith.
