I was wondering if the 1972 super bug seats would fit into a 1971 super bug.

they should if they are the t rail.

your getting a bit technical on me, I'm not sure what that is,
it's got rails that slide back and forth , the floor under the seat is flat, it doesn't have that big lumpy bit that i seen on some beetles.

do the rails look like a T or an upside down L

i think the part that stuck to the floor might have a T shape and the part that slides along it is like a sideways C shape.

What bushing are you referring to Joel? Betweeen the rail on the floor and the ral on the seat??

they sit over the rail so the seat isnt wobbley on the rails and they slide off and break apart
i gave up buying new ones
