Just doing some research with regards to high zinc levels.
There is Valvoline VR1, Penrite, Brad Penn, Castrol Edge.
Are there any others available in Australia?
ACE designed for air cooled engines.
I posted all the specs a couple of months back.
penzoil street machine
stole this bit of info
Its the only oil that is still available in Aus (that I an aware of)
that still uses pennsylvania crude oil.
Valvoline, havoline, penrite & a few others used this oil
until it became too expensive.
Most aussie oils now use Aussie light crude.
This oil needs lots of additives due to the base being very light.
Penzoil reserves are running low,so they keep most of it for their own products.
Pennsylvania grade crude oil is thermally stable and has a high viscosity index. It is generally free of asphalt and has only trace amounts of sulfur
and nitrogen. It is also high in paraffin and other waxes making it highly desirable for refinement into petroleum lubricants such as motor oil. Its
products are also valuable for use in certain hydraulic applications. By-products are commonly found in consumer goods such as cosmetics, and topical
ointments.
Products refined from this type of oil are particularly prized as lubricants and many oil companies prominently display the fact that they use
Pennsylvania Grade crude oil in their products
I believe the Penzoil only has the Pennsylvania grade crude oil in the States now...I could be wrong.
I'll contact a rep and get the specs of their oils.
Thanks
Craig
