wiper motor

I've just removed the wiper motor from the buggy and suspect it may not be a VW part, the way it is mounted just looks like it may be riged up using
another brand, the only mark I can find on it is a square (positioned as a diamond) with SWF writen in the square across the diagonal, any clues?

Hi Don,
SWF made many electrical parts for Volkswagen...
some wiper motors are sitting at a 90 degree angle some others aren't...
I tried to put a 1970 wiper motor in My 1968 beetle but it was entirely different.... in shape everything..
how it fitted etc..
main thing was the wiper shafts themselves were in the same places... in the body...
