rusty question
Starbug - July 12th, 2003 at 12:44 PM

Ive noticed a little bit of bubbling around the bottoms of the doors and near the wheel guards, its not too bad and the rest of the body (the bits that arent kit) is in good nick. i just want to help stop it or retard it now before it gets worse, as a paint job is not on the cards for a few more years.

whats the best way i can go about doing this?
any help is much appreciated!

just dig it all out back to shiny metal and apply liberally a primer to seal it.

You can get cans of matching paint made up at Auto One or one of those places in a spray can or a lot cheaper is to get some made up in a tim and apply by brush. You get a lot more paint and can apply a lot thicker

Just make sure you really dig it out.

You can douse it in fish oil as a preventative if you like
