Gidday
Anyone got any tips for replacing axle boots as i have one that is split but am having a dogs time getting it off. Also the axle tube (transaxle) seems to be sitting on the rear horn the engine mounts to. Am I right in assuming that this should not be the case anddoes anyone know how I might fix that as well.
Thanks.
:fakesniff:
Ps. Have finally lifted the rear of the baja and it should sit a lot higher as it was graggin it's arse at lower than stock.
Joel if you read this you How to on lowering was a great help for raising as well. Thanks!

Jack the axle near the shock mount rather than the side central jack point. That way the axle is pushed up away from the horn UNLESS you have it normally sitting with too much positive camber. If so, you may have to put a chain around the axle to top shock mount before jacking.

Thanks I forgot about that as I did it for retensioning the Spring plate:dork:. Any way it worked after I had a mate push down on the jack as well because when I jack it it started to lift the rear of the jack. Maybe I have too much lift now. Any way thanks DH.
