What do i set the valves at in a stock 1600c engine.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has two books with different clearances!! My early book for my '72 Super stated 4 thou and my haynes says 6 thou. It took a genius (not me) to point out that VW had changed the clearances during the early 70's for 1600tp because of stretched valves.
