Interior rear vision mirror for early 69 Kombi

Hi

Just looking for some input as I have purchased two interior mirrors now that are meant to be of a '68 bay kombi (pictured below) but as you can see from the other photo, my point of connection is quite different. Any help/advice is much appreciated.

There is one on ebay at the moment for $25 buy it now
It says its for a 68.

U SEEM TO BE MISSING THE CLIP WHICH I ASSUME SCREWS IN THERE
