Hopefully someone can answer this one too....
A very elderly lady owns a 73 orange beetle. Owned it since new.
She is now wanting a good s/hand front drivers seat.
I have been told there are a few types
of seats for this car is this true?
If so, whats the difference as I will now
have to go & see her beetle to make sure I can get the "right" one.
Thankx

Judy

IF it is a 73 then 99.9% chance it has the standard base like the one in the picture

Very late 74 and 75 bugs had a 3 point base.
It is easy to tell - if it has the 3 point base you cant put you hand underneath from the front

Thet common style is as shown and is 2 slider rails

The 3 point is hard to come by and has to be on that base.

She dont want a nice set of Subi seat??

I am a very helpful person - especially when it comes to Supers. I will help ALL dubbers - but Supers get a special seving of niceness off me.

As for the pictutre - i am still trying to sell a good set of seats. I happened to have is on the hard disc at work and uploaded from there

Want a spare set for the vert?

Then again yours are probabally the 3 pointers?

Judy how about talking this nice lady into them
