Early 4mm low pressure brake hose?

So I'm just wondering where you can get hold of rubber brake hose from the reservoir to MC on early Beetles with the smaller diameter 5mm reservoir pipe.
I could use fuel hose but it'll rot out quicker than properly formulated brake hose.

Cheers

I went to a brake specialist (for all cars not just VW) and they had some. Take the reservoir in with you so you can check the hose size. The hose I got was an imperial size but it did fit. Not cheap, it's about $40 per metre, but it's the proper stuff and will last.

Cool. Cheers guys. Will try enzo/enzed??? and local brake guys. Won't try Vintage as I don't like them :)

Wolfsburg West in the US have it, if you are prepared to wait a week for postage to Aust.

So its a choice between spending several hours running around to a bunch of shops, or, paying an apparent premium of $30 postage from the US.

Hmm, choices choices :) and why is it that overseas companies bend us Aussie's over and stiff us on shipping??? Do they want the business? M7 in UK are 55pounds when Heritage charge for the actual weight i.e. a lot less :)
