Self Cancelling Indicators
Oasis - July 21st, 2003 at 01:29 AM

My indicators in my 1970 bug don't cancel and never have. It's got a momo wheel in it if that has anything to do with it. Should I be able to get them to work? Any suggestions appreciated.

On the back of your boss there should be a pertruding piece of metal or plastic, this is what triggers the cancellation of the indicators . you could be missing this arm or you indicator may be stuffed.

Or the indicator cancelling arm is fitted in the wrong position.

More that likely its not fitted you will have to pull the wheel off to see if its onlt the back of the wheel.

The pin that protudes out into the boss section from the indicator arm may be broken or worn as well.
