bugzla - December 5th, 2010 at 08:54 PM

okay done that and increased the main jet still pinging but not as bad but running really rich wound the timing back as much as i can still doing it ive got a degree pulley but no puller to get the old one off its really frustating

cesiumfrog - December 5th, 2010 at 09:16 PM

was it running ok before you touched it?
thats always my first question to myself when things turn to shit.

matberry - December 6th, 2010 at 12:30 AM

You need to set the timing accurately, even the stock pulley will tell you. An adjustable timing light or a few marks on the pulley and calculate from the original marks to fin total advance is necessary.

ill change back to the single carb and see what happens
