Hey Guys,
I am considering purchasing a modified 62 Karmann Ghia, and am wondering who might be the best people in Brisbane to "look after it".
It's been a while since I've been involved in the VW scene, so I thought you guys might be able to point me in the right direction?
Cheers, Paul.
Hi Paul,
Give peter at custom veedub stafford 33564356 a call, he has just taken over the business.
He is a good bloke and can be trusted.
Bob
yep !! Peter gets the
s up !
where in bris r u at?
u can see cvd or leons or southside vw
the dude at southside vw is a champion ![]()
Hes a british man used to be hired by vw as a mechanic 'back in the day'...
nicest of blokes.
Thanks for the replies guys.
I'm on the Southside so I might try someone down this way to begin with. I use to get a bit of work done through Southside VW back in the early 90s,
I didn't realise he was still going. From memory the guys name was Roger, still the same guy?
Where are cvd and leons?
Certainly is, and with stock stuff he is really good.
Ok cool.
The car I'm looking at has a few modifications, including a Pobjoy 1916 motor, so I'm not sure if that's his "cup of tea" of whether there might
be someone better suited to that sort of thing on the southside?
are you looking at the nice blue kg?very nice car if so

Try Leons, he does good work, and does allot of modified engines and cars.
