Where to buy cheap tyresin Brisbane?
psimitar - December 27th, 2010 at 01:41 AM

Hello all,

Wondering if anyone can shed light on where to buy cheap tyres in Brisbane?
I don't mean cheap as in 'unknown brand name' but good quality tyres at much better pricing than the big rip off companies like Bob Jane, Beaurepaires, Jaxx, Bridgestone etc.

There's gotta be some reasonably priced companies out there cos even at the worst exchange rate basis the UK has far cheaper pricing.

All I want are some 155 or 165 15's.

Any inside info people?

Cheers,
Mike

drift crowd seems to like this mob... not sure on stock personally but through friends they seem to do anything for good $$$, may help :)

the other option is wait till sides sees this & find out if his mate jeff still sells tyres - he runs the xl sprints at lakeside & such

other than that, check out boostcruising for more leads, theres always places selling wheels /tyres on there, not sure if theres much market for anything less than 195 on there but could be worth a shot, just ignore the idiots :tu:

just get out the yellow pages as there are plenty of tyre retailers that are a lot cheaper that the above mentioned, let your fingers do the walking.

Cool I'll give em a call on Wednes and hope they open. Otherwise Yellowpages it is. Hoping Brisbanites would know some good places to try before I trawled the pages :)

Hi

I found Bob Jane to have good prices...
most tyre shops have good prices on tyres they buy a lot of...
so, a different brand may be very expensive compared to another shop

so, it either pays to shop around...
for a good brand...

I read where no tyres are now made in Australia...
all imported??

Lee

PS- the prices quoted on bob jane website is for website customers only... make sure you tell them..
or you will pay more... Lee
