twin solex carbs

Wanting to know if running twin type3 solex carbs to suit a type 1 1300cc would be worth the difference in runnning the standard carb?

two is better then one , as long as they are a good set.
That's why all new cars run multi point injection, then just a throttle body injector.

yep twin carbs will wake up any VW motor over a single.

i ran twin 28 pics on homemade manifolds on my 1300 ,gave it more grunt and a little more top end:tu:

I ran a set of type3 carbs on my bug many years ago, there abit of modding involved but I was happy with the results, better than my old kadrons anyway

German OEM parts win over aftermarket brazilian crap any day
