ok girls and boys i have a really problem that is driving me crazy
i fitted a 2 lit with box clutch and pressure plate fitted first all looked well with the bearing and fork
also new heavy duty cable, now i can't adjust the dam thing no matter whatever i do i can only get a very small amount of pull on the cable i have removed the pedal and mad sure it's in the right place, the pedal goes to the floor with ease with the wifes pushing and me looking and i have turned the adjusting butterfly as far as it will go
need help or petrol can't afford petrol myself

So are you saying that the clutch pedal has full travel, but at the clutch fork you have no travel.

Sounds strange as its all mechanical and straight forward, push the pedal down and it pulls the cable in.

Have you tried it without the cable attached to the clutch fork and seeing if yoiu get full travel then.

Check fro broken welds on the clutch tube at the rear allowing the bowden tube to flex the tube forward. Look under the back seat at the clutch tube where it attaches to the pan on the left under the shifter coupling inspection cover while you get someone to depress the clutch. If the welds are broken you'll see the tube move.

OK thanks Paul, then check for a broken weld where the cable tube attaches to the chassis, easier to see and fix :)

Adjustable????
Was the clutch pedal lever loose that bolts to the clutch pedal cross shaft?

it was moving a bit and that led to a what tha moment, and a bit of a think so i moved it a round a bit and picked up about a quarter inch and that let the clutch on the box move a half inch and that fixed all tere was abit of fiddling bu basically that was the problem
