Hey
I have just separated the body from the Chassis and removed all carpet and rubber etc. The chassis rail (bit that runs along the centre with gear
stick and handbrake) has a big hole in the top near the pedals. It looks like someone was trying to attach the pedals but couldn't so chopped a hole
for access.
what does this mean? Is the chassis useable? or is the structural integrity affected? Could i just plate over it? or is the chassis cactus?
Any advice would be great
Thanks
thats from someone being lazy and cheating when doing the clutch cable. its fine mine has the same thing. if your really worried about it just weld it up
Thanks.
I thought I'd just plate it. Just wanted to check that it wasn't going to fall apart on me!
trim it up and fit a cover plate over it make fgrom sheet metal and self tapper screw
