I have just insatlled new alarm into my bug and it was a remote start feature, The problem is my car wont start when its cold unless i give it some throttle.

Is there anything i cxan do to the mixture or timing to make it stay running when cold.

Also my car is missing and surging a little at high revs under heavy load, can anyone please help.

so I take it you have twin carbs? If so I really can't think of an easy way aside from puting in a choke. It its a stockie it probably just needs the auto choke adjusted...super easy and covered to death all over the net. Try Rob and Daves website from here if thats any help, other than that I thinking a PIC controlled solenoid :( but thats getting a bit much.
