I am looking at buying a convert beetle over the weekend in QLD.

The owner tells me that he can't see the mod plate anyuwhere although it was registered in 2008.

What is the go with reregistering , do I need a plate?

If it has been strengthened what do I look for?

Any help appreciated. I am looking at it tomorrow.
