Oil cooling

Just scored a 1600tp with a fitting for a remote oil cooler instead of doghouse cooler(it was fitted to a Baja) Is this the go for better oil cooling & air flow around cylinders 3&4; if so,
where would you mount the cooler element in a Ghia?? Any tips?
thanks Andy

Ditch it. There is no better stock cooling system than the dog house cooler. It would work ok on a baja as the have no back, a ghia on the other hand would be trouble. Have a look at any big site.

Berg for example has experimented with all types of coolers and settled on stock cooler setup. Use an external cooler if you must to assist the standard set up but I wouldn't run it on its own.
