Hey guys. first post here, have been lurking and reading a fair bit and have a few questions...
I'm looking at buying a nice ratty old oval off a mate and am wanting to stroke the engine out to something like a 2180 or similar power with dual
carbs.
hoping to get something with this sort of power(where my inspiration came from ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxlupdInTXY
would like some peoples opinions on this, what sort of dollars am i up for a build like this (prof done by a shop??)
I realise its sort of 'how long is a bit of string' situation but does anyone have any ballpark figures? what work have you had on your bug and
what'd you pay? who did it? are you happy with it?
cheers guys
Well depends on how deep is your wallet but from what I've been told when i do my 1600 tp i will be up for around $5K - $7K

Get Rod to built one for a streeter. easy
you're talking about Rod Penrose right?
dnt forget its not just the engine that will need to be upgraded, start looking at gearbox and then suspension, brakes and body plus mountings to
chassis.
dont spend all the money on engine. where are you and im sure we can point you in the direction of someone who can help you.
Im in Brisvegas, thanks for the input fellas appreciate it
