Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has imported either a turn key or long block engine out of the US? Now the Aussie dollar is quite strong this option is quite appealling.
Found some engines on the site below.

do a search over on the samba and shoptalk before you even think about buying from them. from memory they dont have a good reputation on there.
also its a bloody long way to send back for warranty work.

Maybe worth doin a search for 'turnkey' on here too... this subject seems to come up at least every month or so.

There is not a single VW engine supplier world wide with a worse reputation than GEX
