I am starting to think about my fuel system & would like to know any drawbacks with Braided S/Steel Fuel Line suck as heat soak?

Has anyone had any bad experience? It's just I read on one particlular forum about heat soak. It was mainly with the wrap around braid.

I have been using Speedflow braided Stainless steel fuel lines for at least 15 years (300,000 km) on my 1916s, and haven't had any problems at all.

I have it in the ragtop and it seems fine
