Just done a top end rebuild on a 1500 going into a 1970 bug and I got a set of dual ICT 34 for it. I did a dummy set up last night and it looks to me
that I have to have the carbs and manifolds off when I put the engine back in.
Is this the case or can you giggle and wiggle and get it all in.

The carbs & manifolds need to be off when you fit the motor.

get some hex nuts for the manifolds they make it much easier to install once its all in.
What you mean hex nut. Arent all nuts hex

I use the hex style, they a longer than a normal nut, and 11mm spanner and M8 x 1.25 thread, great on all inlet maniflods and exhausts
