how much does a buggy weigh?

dry weight (no oils, fuel etc) 750kg -819kg I think the earlier type 1's are lighter (pre 1965) coz thats what my book sez

Mine has 580Kg on the Rego papers. It is more than that now (more like 650) because of the extra weight in the strengthed floor and bar work.
The new 4 seater ones from Sharpbuilt and MAX FX are right on 800 Kg. They need them to be that so they can have the 2 L motors.

In NSW the weight is written on your rego papers. Maybe for you too??

thanks for your help. so the front wheels should get off the ground pretty easy with a few hundred horses.

Actually, you should be able to get the front wheels off the ground with about 120 ft-lbs of torque.
