Hey all.

I've just picked up a little kilo fire extinguisher for the Baja. I was just wondering where people usually mount them. Ideas would be great, pictures even better.

somewhere where u grab it in a super hurry as a fire will do that to ya..

My extinguisher is on the passenger side firewall, just above their feet. Easy to reach over and grab from the driver's side.

On the floor immediately in front of the front passenger seat.

I've seen pics of people mounting them on the tunnel, in front of the gear stick.

in front the passenger seat on the floor.

make sure its a proper 2 strap metal bracket. Worst thing is it coming loose in a accident.

On the tunnel, if it come loose, it can fall under your feet when driving......

why not drive a vw powered firetruck around? Might as well.

I think I might fit it to the front of my passenger side seat mounts. Then it's out of the way but still within reach.

Bix - the strap was a little loose and ill-fitting so I've modified it and now it's nice and tight.
