having a problem with a heavy duty oil pump and cover for full flow, seems the studs arent long enough any suggestions, do you pull the stud out a
couple of turns, or maybe take some meat off the outer sections of the cover where the studs come through or are there longer aftermarket studs you
have to fit .

get some longer studs dont pull them out a few turns as the pump wont hold
you can get some studs from Vintage 02-9789-1777

NO dont do that ,threaded rod is shit,if you can buy longer studs,if you cant buy longer studs buy some all thread bolts and make your studs from them ,there is an enormous difference in the torque capabitity
