Overrider hole size

Would someone with a 67 or earlier bug with overrider bumpers please measure the size of the overider holes on the front apron and let me know,

You mean the over rider support tubes..??

You can still buy the rubber grommets for them too...

27mm....ish cause they're always bent/repaired

Cheers hellbugged. I need to drill the holes as the shop I bought the apron from only had the aprons without the holes.
I have the car at a mates place so I could not measure the holes myself, now I will go and buy the appropriate hole saw/s to make the holes when I remove the exsisting apron.
