Hello what is the easiest way to get my gudgens/wrist pins in I have replaced the bearings in the small end of the conrods and have new pistons and
gudgens to put in any tips and pictures is appreciated.
Thanks
I use a gudgeon pin tool (?) it looks like a piston ring compressor but straps around the piston whilst you wind in the pin. I used to tap the pins in carefully but was never happy doing that then a mate gave me the tool
There is clearence in the little end bush and in the piston, assemble them using the oil that you will run in the engine and the gudgon pin should just push in using thumb pressure,
