1300 / 85.45?

Hi, I have a 1967 Beetle and from what I can gather it is a 1300cc. Currently I am rebuilding the engine and I am wondering which barrels and pistons to buy. The ones that I have been looking at state that they are 85.5 and there don't seem to be any with a lower value. I have looked at the pistons currently in the car and they have 85.45 printed on them. Is there a table that explains what all of these mean? Can I fit the 85.5 size barrels and pistons to my 1300 case?

It sounds like you have a 1600. 85.5 pistons are 1600 pistons. The 1300 and 1600 both have a 69mm crank.

85.5 is the bore size, 85.45 is the piston size, it has .05mm clearance in the bore.

The case has 'F 1055792' written on it and I was told that the 'F' meant that it was a 1300. I did notice that there were case savers so I thought that the motor might have had some work done. Thanks for the info though since that means that I can get the new 85.5 barrels and pistons.
