6 point harness mount - Crutch strap mounting
Aussie Dubbin - December 7th, 2011 at 12:26 PM

Hi Guys,
i'm looking at where to mount the crutch strap underneath my seat. There is two straps and it needs to be 20* front or rear of the crutch hole. It needs to be mounted using 8.8 eye-bolt and nut and there needs to be a 75x50x3mm plate on the underside of the chassis.

I have all of them above. BUT - the 75x50 plate is too big for any of the indentations in the floorpan under the seat... what have you guys done? What is a suitable way to have cams on board? do i drill a hole inbetween two indententations to sperad the load, weld some spacers into where the indents go? I dont have a pic at the moment but you get the idea i'm sure. i imagine cams dont want the plate to have big hollows between 3mm plate and chassis floor.

Cheers if you can help

Really need to speak to a engineer as it will have to be approved anyway, i fitted my harrnesses and he made me change one mounting point.
