EDIS VR sensor

Hi,

Anyone familiar with the gap for the EDIS VR sensor?

From what I've read it should be anything from 30 to 60 thou between the sensor and the trigger wheel. Try as I might I always seem to wind up with it being more like 25 thou. Does anyone know what if any effect this will have? Or is 25 thou still ok?

Many thanks, Marc.

Should be OK but if your concerned start the engine and file a few thou off the trigger wheel.

Thanks Ian, Geez that's a bit of a rough technique! I haven't got any touching, so I think I'll just leave it as it is.

I had to get it remounted. I was getting some touching and found it was off centre by 8 thou, so had it reset and now it's fine.

All I have to do now is get the megasquirt tuned properly and we're all go!

Cheers,Marc.
