Hey guys...new to this forum....i have a 72 superbeelte with the macpherson setup and the irs rear......just want to know the easiest and cheapest way to lower my car...alot of people are telling me to cut springs but id prefer not to hack but rather modify......please help

Jak thats the Kandos method. The other way is to turn put the struts in lathe and machine the welds that hold the lower spring mount, move it about 2
inches lower and then reweld it.

I prefer this method to EMPI struts as long as your new weld is done properly
lowered springs is the cheapest and easiest. Kings don't have them in the catalogue, but if you ring them, they have specs and can be made to order. Get eh ones which are only about 2 inch lower, that way they work with standard inserts and won't fall out.
Have used Jacks method before and yes works great! For looks and Handling.

Hey there 1303steve just posted on a question I asked about different springs for a super turns out using the rear springs of an 88-95 honda civic
will lower your front end by an inch and a half.

That way is abit on the bodgy side and I doubt would pass many Roadworthys in Aus.
It's not real hard to do it the proper way using the Honda spring holders.
