my car is always parked in a carport and after a few days of rain it
takes me like 10 minutes to get it started any tips and does this happen to you ?

I'd go for moisture in the distributor.
I pop the cap off to the side and get a hair dryer and give a blast for a minute.
Works for me.

Hi
Clean the coil, cap and leads with metho. Dust attracts moisture, sparks are lazy and will go where they want too.

WIPE the inside of the distributor cap with Methylated spirits or WD40 [dewatering fluid]
also spray your coil electrical connections...
see if that helps..
moisture in the distributor is very common...
I wipe Mine out every few months and I don't drive on dirt roads..

Particularly if running lid lifters / hoodjax like seem to have in your avatar pic, but also worth checking no hairline cracks in the dizzy cap.
There's a waterproofing boot have seen around for 009's aimed at the off-road guys - I've never used one, but it might help.

Yes, WD40 leaves a film but it also displaces water..
so, if You have a hairline crack in the coil or the distributor cap etc... the WD40 will displace any dirt/water/moisture..
The waterproofing boots for the coil and distributors look good.. I have never used them, but I normally run hoodjacks with the engine lid open at the
top all summer, so the engine does get wet when it rains but I've never ever had any problems...
My distributor cap/spark plug leads etc are all near new too..
You can also use foaming degreaser less than $3 a can] on the engine.. I do mine at least once a month.. and hose all the dust off... then use the
WD40 to displace the water on the dissy and coil...

Hi
WD40 is basically oil, it attracts dust and will breakdown some plastics on the high tension lead. WD40 should be wiped off asap.
Boots over the cap sweat and lead to more problems.
I work with wet ignition systems at my work, a butane torch carefully used will dry it out.
I wonder if your starting issue is carb related, I had a Holly bug spray on another car and it used to dry out after a few days and wouldn't start
until fuel got pumped back up to the carb
