Hi guys I'm just wondering if there would be a way of lowering the front of my 67 drum brake beetle , without too much work involved ? I only want it to go down about an inch ! I just want a little bit of rake !! Cheers for your time :)

Drop spindles would be the easiest way, they give 2.5" i think. Unsure of the legalities though..... They may need to be engineered. You could just put lower profile tyre on the front?

yes they do need to be engineered and I only know of one person that has achieved that (Golde60) Stilll.........................

Whatever - a bag of cement is your friend

Isn't far 1 inch 25mm..

Bag or two of cement should do it...

otherwise You can fit fit adjusters like most of Us..

this means taking the front end out and pulling it apart
and having the adjusters inserted [welded] into either just one or both torsion bars in the centre..

then You are able to lower or heighten as You want..
