Hi
Just installed a brand new single port manifold as my old one had a crack in it
It's on a 1300 and I'm running a H30/31 carb
I've put everything back together and now the accelerator pump arm is pretty much hard up against the fan shroud!
Have I put everything back on incorrectly? Or is there some way to adjust the fan shroud away from the carb? Any tricks or mods??

Just measure old and new manifold an you'll see difference...

Yeah I put them side by side, and I couldn't seeany difference
There must be a tiny amount of difference with some of the bends

I managed to massage it into place a bit better
But there is still a bit of contact with the acc arm at full push
I might tighten the arm up a bit so I'm still getting the mist squirt possible
Then if all else fails, I'll grind a little off the acc pump arm bracket bit

I dremelled the hell outta it, so now it doesn't foul on the fan shroud
But I still can't get it to squirt enough straight away. It squirts enough further along the stroke, but just not quite enough initially
Any ideas???
