Did a bit of maintinence this weekend on the car and noticed that the belt is slightly wobbling. It looks like its wobbling from the Crankshaft pulley
end.
I've looked in my Mr Muir book, and done a bit of research but I can't figure out what I can try apart from maybe a new pulley? or even more
invasive procedures? I would need to go out and buy a big breaker bar and a huge socket so would like to see what other options I have first.
Has anyone any tips?
Thanks in advance people,
d
Hi
They flex easily, try working out where the bend is and stick a tyre lever behind the pulley and pull it straight you can also do this with the motor
idling but that's a bit more dangerous

LOL!, if you saw how many times I've done that trick on our zero turn mowers with the blades running you would have a coronary.
the crappy pressed steel pullies bend at a match stick hitting them.
Hi Col
Thanks for your concern, I don't have any cars with the steel pulley any more otherwise I would demonstrate, if you ever need a hand Joel let me
know.
Its not unsafe at all, the tyre lever is wedged against the tinware and the snout of the case on the dizzy side of the motor and the pulley has no
jagged edges to snag on. I do still have the marks on my tyre levers.
