Hey Guys,

Just saw craig torrens on DIY Rescue. After today, i think my car will need a DIY rescue. Massive clunking sound in gear box, but the gears are shifting cleanly, doesnt make the noise when u rev in neutral, only when gears are initiated, and gets louder as you accellerate harder. i have no idea what it is, but i aint driving it! Craig, your beetle rocks! Until my beetle sounds something like yours, i wont be happy lol

its not your cv joints buggered is it???... i had a similar sounding problem on my car... im not sure just a thought

That car and car trailer are going to look a bit out-of-place in that backyard now! How much veedub stuff did you end up throwing out?

THROW OUT VW STUFF...................... over my dead body:D

I suggested we make a "water feature" out of an old oval front cut............did not seem to "go down" well with Greg the landscaper:(

The trailer and Bug have now been shoved up the side, next to the buggy !!!
