Dellorto Emulsion Tubes
GL1972 - August 29th, 2003 at 09:00 PM

Has anyone tried to straighten a bent brass emulsion tube. Just got a set of Dellorto 40s off
Ebay and one of the tubes was bent above the top thread. It unscrews ok and appears to seal and would probably work ok. The only problem is that I must have everything straight and polished.

What is it exactly you need ???

VVDS have new jets if you need them.

Thanks. I'll make sure they are available before giving straightening a go. (when brass bends it doesn't usually bend back without fracturing).

Yes true now i see what you talking about. Ring 9789-1777 to query jets availability first.

Pretty sure they have them.

Just thought I would let you know Dave that an Emulsion tube is the part in a Carby that holds the jet.

Yep i knew that did understand what GL1972 wanted to do with it... or the carby...
