scat shifter problem

hey
the trigger for the reverse the wire has snapped so cant get reverse what wire to people use and does anyone have a pic of a scat shifter in parts?

Throw it away and put in a STOCK Type 3 shifter... u will never have this problem again

Ive been abusing my berg shifter for about 4 years and never had a prob.

l used a broken accelerator cable to replace the wire in one we have in a daily driver and has been ok for 6 years. Use the solid single wire not the multi strand one and always carry a standard shifter and 13mm spanner as insurance.

its in gavs beetres dave u doosh if we had a standard beetle shifter we would use it but dont have one......

My Scat shifter had a solid rod for the reverse lever, so i never had any probs

yeah, mine has a rod. thats why i wondered what you were talking about with cables.
