If you think we are paying through the nose down here in Aus, I reckon the prices on this site might cause a rethink. I'm not saying these things are overpriced but it makes me glad I don't live over there. Make that the 572,357th reason I don't live there.....

:odude:o well the 2nd resons cause they salt the road, not good for a dub, and it also has the highest population of neo-nazis in the world. england the place not to go.

crazyfiggi - September 30th, 2003 at 08:08 PM

Think of all the poor dubs that died to supply all of those parts!:cry

baybuscamperkid - September 30th, 2003 at 08:26 PM

what madman came up with that pricing!?! some parts seem reasonable, but others are just rediculous! 145pounds for a bay front door, i was happy with $200 for my pair of completely straight and rust free ones!

also, anyone looked at their gallery, HOW MANY OVALS HAVE THEY SOLD! must have sold 2/3rds of all the ones in Europe!

Black_math - October 1st, 2003 at 01:43 PM

How about the "Prices subject to VAT" bit :o

Thats an extra 17.5% :o:o

Keith - October 2nd, 2003 at 03:47 AM

Stupid Bus prices, VAT, £4 a gallon petrol, £4 for 20 smokes, hardly any surf, crap at the sports WE invented, crap at the others too (apart from 'Curling' - WTF?????), rain, snow, rust, expensive clothes.....etc, etc

Could be worse though eh.........could be convicts!!!

(J/K guys - but you sort of walked into that one.....)

:D:D:D:D

fatboy - October 2nd, 2003 at 07:37 AM

Keith - October 2nd, 2003 at 07:45 AM

LOL - got to agree with you there I s'pose!!:D

Robo - October 2nd, 2003 at 08:26 AM

Don't hold your breath!
I noticed some of this level of pricing at Action day in Brisbane, $1000 for a pair of resto'd 60's Beetle towel rail bumpers, I also noticed some of the recognised traders buying cheap off private sellers then offering the same items at a substantially marked up price.
If you want parts for future projects, get them now, before the market goes through the roof! it is going to happen!

As that australian drongo in the simpsons said " its a blody outrage" and we should blam that website to hel:P

Pat - October 2nd, 2003 at 04:42 PM

I can think of another reason.......Pikies, after spending 6 months working in the fenlands, I will be glad to never lay eyes on one again.

Aussie drifters and ferals are so much nicer, they don't stab you.

Well, at least not too often.

Black_math - October 5th, 2003 at 02:58 PM
