Hello Everyone
I am the current webmaster for the Volkswagen Club of Western Australia (Inc.) I have recently taken over this role and have begun rebuilding the
entire web site - http://www.vwclub.asn.au.
I'm a programmer/analyst by day so my skills in web development are fairly advanced, but anything requiring any form of artistic creativity is
generally beyond me. What I am basically asking is for someone to help in building a header image for the site, and some suggestions/comments on color
schemes et cetera. I'm sure there are heaps of nice volkswagen photographs out there that could be made into a great header image.
Obviously credit will be given. Unfortunately that is all I can offer (well, I can offer a subdomain with a limited amount of web space for free)
because we're all volunteers at the end of the day.
If you'd like to help out, contact me at webmaster@vwclub.asn.au. Art is always something that takes along time to perfect and I've got my hands
full building scripts and automating the web site!
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi Lee,
Good to hear man. Will be looking forward to seeing the progression of the site. Good luck.

I like the one with the Volkswagen logo in the outline of western australia. There is only one problem - Volkswagen Group Australia would castrate us
if we use the Volkswagen logo (and not our own Club logo).
I've recently come across some photographs from the first ever Club run in 1955. I quite like the photographs because they really show the heritage
of the Club in just a few simple shots, and I think there is one image that would make a good header image without too much fuss.
The images are available at http://www.vwclub.asn.au/tmp/image001.jpg and http://www.vwclub.asn.au/tmp/image002.jpg. Please excuse these images as they have been severly reduced in size to make
them a reasonable download.
I have 300 dpi versions of these images if anyone is interested.
