NICE John Muir did a full 90 minute tape similar but more extensive on all beetle engine sounds its really good if you can find a copy.

Used to be free on his website ( he died a few years a ago) last time i look it didnt work.

John wrote the IDIOT book which is very good as well

I have heard about this Muir tape many time's who has a copy that they would copy for me? Ill buy the tape disk or whatever and pay for the postage or anything else that has to be done!

you can listen to the one's on this site, search VW

or set your microphone near your speakers and use the windows sound recorder hehe
