This Website is dedicated to the design of Volkswagen OHC Apfelbeck cylinderheads. Their origin lies in the late sixties / early seventies and they were designed for the aircooled VW Type IV engine by Ing. Ludwig Apfelbeck.

Check out his book: Wege zum Hochleistungs Viertaktmotor for a reference to this project. It is concidered the Tuning bible by many.
Project cars will feature a Beetle, one standard and one German look and also a Karmann Ghia. Cylinders will be like the Porsche nicasil used on the 964 and 993.
