I dont know what sort it is but i do know that thing is dam ugly:o
Bump
I wouldn't mind knowing myself, I have seen a similar car but it was a VOLVO:repuke
Rob.....
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but is that a Rometsch (spelling) ?
They were coachbuilt in the 50's, similar rarity to a hebmuller if thats what it is.
Is that a photo from Bulli??
It is not an Ascort.
But i do know of an Ascort for sale
i get my pics from a bloke from florida he's the club presi of Tampa Bay aircooled society. he's name is jack stratton. he told me it was a coachbuilt but told me to work out what it is. IT'S GOT ME STUFFED what it is though and yep it looks like an early volvo to me aswell.
THE STYLING is very similar to a number of vehicles styled by Frua, I would suggest you search google for Frua show cars etc
beauty is in the eye of the beholder, cars like these were the beginning of many successful trends & I think it is attractive
i reckon it looks hot
got me stumped:bounce
Dump it about 4 or 5 inches and it will have a whole new look.
Yeah, I like the look of it, if it is indeed a Volovo! but being a M/C rider, Volvo is not one of my favorite cars, they seem to have a habit of
bumping into things, not good.
Rob...
It's a Beutler coachbuilt made in Switzerland around 1961. They mostly featured Porsche engines and were often referred to as Beutler Porsches,
despite the Volkswagen chassis,
Next question?
now i can rub it in his face now . I'll make sure i tell him herbie told me :beer
Here is another,
I cant get the hang of multiple photos in one post
are any of these in OZ?
Do they come with Porsche badging?
Yeah they do come with porshe Badging
But I seriously doubt any made it to Australia and then If a few did the they would most likely have met with ill fate.
Bit it would be good to know!
Cheers Tony
Silly me
Should have realised a Volvo wouldn't show it's face at a VW meet!
Rob......
