apart fromn the arse of it the ghia is shit hot . . . the SC could have looked better if it was done propely and sectioned a bit .... made the right width and stuff

baybuscamperkid - September 25th, 2003 at 09:55 PM

HOLY CRAP!:o

jenz58 - September 25th, 2003 at 10:01 PM

LOL

Have they tested the Ghia in water yet?:o

Yes the single cab is definitely fugly, hate the tear drop type windows in back

Hey, the beetle vert across the road doesn't look too bad:thumb

volma1 - September 25th, 2003 at 11:46 PM

Yep the ghia is a boat of sorts using the term loosely and apparently does float and the prop and rudder work but there are some sikkos there that actually like the beasts. Makes one wonder what the next generation will be like duhhhhhhhhh.

Would love the ghia, can just imagine the family driving down the Brisbane River, its the same colour as the road anyway!!

TheGermanFolks - September 26th, 2003 at 11:08 AM

the singlecab is called "El Ghiablo" the guy who owns it runs around with another guy who has an early splitty that has the roof cut off just above the beltline. I think he put a barndoor engine lid on it too just to freak out the vintage guys.

vw_addict - September 26th, 2003 at 11:42 AM

eewww.... :repuke

helbus - September 29th, 2003 at 12:12 AM

The Ghiablo would look good with no rear doors and a really mad flame job.
I'm not a huge fan of the rear windows. An oval shaped rear window would be my preferred option. :P
