i dropped into our local vw shop today. he had been closed for a while. found out why.
les's young fella had just been let out of hospital although he still wasnt feeling to well. anyway he passed out on the way home and put his beloved 72 bug on its roof and into the guard rail.
he didnt hurt himself and actually only got a few scratches, but he was put into a controlled coma due to his health.
bummer the actions of staff at a hospital have seemd to have cost the life a great little bug.
he is feeling better but now he and his dad have to go search out and build another.
ps; liked it better when you could attach four pics to a post.
damn..
how much for the rims?..
good to see the young fella`s allright , you can allways replace your ride
true
crop top not chop top
wow, that's a good stack! he was lucky though...
at least hes ok.....the car has definatly seen better days but thats replaceable
R.I.P. 72 Sbug

Check it out, http://www.rodandcustommagazine.com/howto/86421/index.html
Shoot on some black prima
no ive got a 74 or76 chop top at my old mans and dont like it but if i can find another body it would solve all my problems cause the rest of the car is fine, if anyone has a body out there for a 70-72 sbug body in nsw it would help.
all you need to do is find one of these and weld the cut in...even experts won't be able to tell the difference
thats the hard part thought but its not like im going to find one over night so im driving my brothers 70 1500:beer
keep telling ya man. style+++ 6v body, and a little fiddle and youll be sweet as!
Maybe time for a buggy! Glad he's okay!!
Dan
no its time for another sleeper like that one was but im thinking a different colour, full custom interior and a 2L t4 donk
I was going to say there is "No Such thing as a Sh*t day", but Now I won't...
That is the worst roof damage I've seen on a Beetle... I rolled one many years ago and did very little damage to the roof... it was a 61 model.. but
You were lucky to get out of that.... You should have took the Doctor to court.... they are covered by insurance....
The Problem with police... the fines are too high...
and they don't have a sense of humour... [not human??]
