Here is a Genuine "L" 1303S superbug in NSW Police Livery.... If You overtake this Beetle You might lose Your licence.... I DID
upset the police officers by complaining that they had an "L" 1303 Beetle and NOT a proper torsion bar front end model..... I then quietly
dissipated into the crowd..... :rudolf:tree
A LARGER pic of this POLICE VW at the end of this post.... Lee

Well, I guess there's no risk of this picture being deleted for exceeding the size limit!
Good one, Kruzin.
Hey Guys,
It took Me hours to get it to this size... and then I tried to get it larger...
but NO Go... so I thought well a small photo of a Beetle is Better then NO Beetle at all...lol:bounce
Then Last Night , I did another one.... larger but too %$#@% large and I blanked out the background..... and its still that big... and its still
sitting in the Scanner... might have another go later,,,
I wish I could do thumbnails....
Not that sort of thumb nails....

Just comments... NO Flames please...

I think it was at the Nationals one year. If not this one then one just like it.
Hi
His name is Dallas Tidyman. He was a Club VeeDub Sydney member. He and his friend did the 4wd test rides at the VW Nationals in the 80s. He was killed
near Goulburn in around 1994. He was did the driving training at the Goulburn police academy. He would often ask new recruits to try and catch him
around the training course, him in his 1835 Beetle and them in a V8 Commodore, no one could catch him even the other trainers.
He did the bug up with permission from the high up cops but was not allowed to drive it on the road.
I dont see whats proper about a torsion bar front end.
1302Steve
yeah that looks like Dallas standing next to the car.
I have to admit that it is pretty cool!! Now if we could only get them to make a Beetle Drag-car!!
I've seen a Type 3 Squareback done up in Green and White as a German cop car. Any idea what the legality of making a car look like a German green
and white policae car would be in Australia? Obvoiusly the blue lights would just be for show (an not wired up)
