HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHa bloody council workers!!!

ruckus - November 19th, 2004 at 03:28 PM

hehehe. I thought it took the guy with the blue top out too but it didn't. Look at the cringe on the guy in the red top when the truck's in mid-flip. What a cack!

boersch - November 19th, 2004 at 07:16 PM

that made my day
was half expecting the second truck to fall in as well :)

BanoraBus - November 19th, 2004 at 08:29 PM

says lot for out riggers
good to see the even the dog got out the way safely

VWFOOL - November 19th, 2004 at 08:48 PM

a good advertisment for the green truck company against their rivals the red truck company

zac_smits - November 21st, 2004 at 11:29 AM

man that is classic!!

it almost looks like the white focus was dropped onto the rubber ducky too...

ColumBUS - November 21st, 2004 at 12:59 PM

has anyone got a news article to go with these?

vw54 - November 21st, 2004 at 02:32 PM

No support typical of crane drivers.

buzzbug - November 21st, 2004 at 02:55 PM

i find it funny that even though the first truck fell in, there are people standing around the second truck when it is doing the recovery???

but not only that, they are standing in the trucks path, if by some horrible twist of fait it does go in.

JeepDraw - December 13th, 2004 at 02:53 PM

I got this in an email, you're missing the last pic of the big truck, when it starts to tip over.

That was in Roundstone, Galway Ireland, see this thread belonging to the Irish VW club:

1st truck = no support arms out
2nd truck = big support arms out

That being the difference.

1st dude obviously thought he could save 10 minutes setting up as maybe he wouldn't need the support. Possibly calculated on the kerbside weight of the car. Kerbside weight of the car doesn't include a few hundred kilo's of water.
:)

He he he

forwarded it onto some of our driving guys (particularly our Plant operator ones ) for use as why a little planning should take precendence over just getting into the job :bounce
